Utter nonsense and this article from the Christian Science Monitor agrees:

The left-wing loves to knee jerk into meme's that make no...
Huge Republican victory...Campaign '12 is now all about economic growth and keeping Dayton's tax hike proposal buried in the dustbin of history, where it belongs.
Your article ignores the obvious truth of why the gap between white and black students is so high in Minnesota compared to the rest of the USA. The gap is not because African American students fare so poorly (they don't compared to other states) its because the white students have been doing so much better relative to white students in the rest of the country. Minnpost needs to use a little Logic 101 and provide the complete story
Clark the leading candidate? Where have you been? Nolan leads in every poll taken by a country mile with Clark lagging badly. Her 'move' to Duluth looks very bad indeed while Nolan fits the district perfectly. Also helps that he is the best retail politician in Minnesota with his direct connection to the original DFL Humphrey/Mondale/McCarthy liberal political magic.
If Nolan runs in the primary - he will win and easily beat Cravaack - yes, he of the New Hamsphire Cravaack's.
Nolan is the best retail politician in the DFL and no one else is close. He fits the district perfectly. He could end up winning with close to 60% of the vote. If the DFL goes with Clark it would be a carpetbagger vs carpetbagger contest with Chip winning.
Of course he caved. Republicans are stunned he folded in such a manner and so soon. This is clearly a huge victory for the Republican leadership - they stopped tax increases, of any kind, cold. This is what voters will remember in next years election. Governor Dayton is now a lame duck - he's done - weak, ineffective, and yes - erratic. The DFL base is going nuts knowing that their Governor has thrown them under the bus and their chances of taking the House and Senate back next year are...
He caved.
Congrats to the Republican leadership for standing strong against new taxes.
Want to bet that more than two 'bogus' Democrats will win?
This could end up being one of the most embarrassing moments for the Democrat Party anywhere.
'Incalculable?' as in non-existent.
The vast majority of Minnesotan's have felt no direct impact from the shutdown - other than traffic on I94 going through St. Paul is a much easier ride.
The folks don't care as long as their taxes don't go up - so each passing day makes Governor Dayton's shutdown look all the more silly. The Republicans sit back and watch the Governor have to deal with his distraught union backers/state employees. Looking very good for the GOP, very sweet...
Come'n over to this side of the pool, the water is just right...
