Well, I imagine this helps imensely when calling on relatives to help you move.
Regulations are laws meant to prevent companies or individuals from performing damaging actions. There is no difference between a law preventing me from going downtown and shooting my gun in the air, and a regulation preventing a company from dumping toxic material into the ground. Both are meant to prevent harm to the common citizen.
Now, like laws such as blue laws, not all regulations are necessary. But to broadly say that all regulations are bad, and too simply cut any regulation...

This would seem to fall mainly on the shoulders of DeMaurice Smith. Either the players do not trust Smith enough to believe he got them a good deal, or Smith did not/has not communicated properly with the players about what has been agreed on.
I respect the players' right to make sure that what they are getting is the best possible deal, but the information should have been well presented prior to the owner's meetings.
No, this is a door that only swings one way to the benefit of a particular political stance. To be fair, the spending would need to be fixed by formula to inflation. That way services actually continue as they had been.
This might require temporary revenue increases, to be applied by the governor (or select panel) which would colapse upon the next approved budget.

I don't think migraines, per se, is a disqualifying factor - people can and do work through serious pain. However, I would like to see a bit more detail on the several meds she takes to keep her migraines in check - there may be something there that is mood altering, which might serve to disqualify her.
