Many people voted for Guvner Markie D simply because they recognized his name. Such a sad state that our citizens have allowed themselves to fall into.

Can someone give me an estimate of the crowd size? They initially wanted to use the outside mall because 10's of thousands were expected. I do believe Barry O DID NOT fill up the 7000 seat venue that they moved him too ( I saw plenty of seats in the cropped RedStar photos). Wow, such a come down from overflowing the Target Center just 2 short years ago, no? And this time he even had the advantage of having 50,000 people nearby leaving the football game before his speech started.

Excellent point (#4), Dan. Is the Met Council now going to tell us that our security concerns are trumped by their desire for something as badly misnamed as "social justice"? When will my choices be as respected as those of the annointed Overlords?

So, it is OK to treat one set of landowners/taxpayers/citizens (rural/suburban) differently than another (urban)? This is a very bigoted view, discriminating against people based upon where they live or wish to live.

Once again, why do we need a set of annointed Overlords to tell us how and where to live and what we can do with our land and what type of transportation is best for us?

Dayton is now officially toast. Obama's magic usually works wonders to the Republican challenger.

The operative word being "FORMER".

If this is such a great project it should be able to stand on it's own financially. Where is all of the private capital that usually flows to profitable ventures? Seeing that all of the support comes from Government seems to indicate that this is another GREEN project that has little basis in economic reality.

Emmer's got nothing but a plan to spend no more than what we take in based upon the current high tax structure we have today.

Unlike Datyon He does not have a plan to raise job-killing taxes on successful and hard-working Minnesotans so that money can be redistributed to other Minnesotans based on their income, race, or union membership.

Unlike Horner he doses not have a plan to tax all Minnesotans and raise spending to even higher levels than today.

Yep, he's got...

#1 I take it you mean the "liberal independent" who voted for Obama in 2008?
