Cyndy,
Welcome ann Nice work. Many here will give you grief for not doing an attack piece on Representative Emmer. Don't let them get to you - it's just that they have been used to RedStar journalism for so long that they do not understand balance.
Neil @ #5, That is REPRESENTATIVE Bachmmann. What about the children Neil? Aren't you forgetting about the Children?
So, Gary believe that Central MN is " where staunch Republicans and loyal Democrats know how to live together without yelling at each other and do what needs to be done to work out our problems.
So I guess after he moved to St. Paul he became one of those loyal liberals where suing your neighbor over properly approved building plans is how you work things out?
"top-earning 20 percent of Americans received 49.4 percent of all income generated in the country "
First, income is earned by a person, not generated "in the country".
Second, people don't receive their income, they earn it.
If income is somehow magically "generated" and is "received" by people, than it must belong to all, right? The language from the beginning of this article indicates a contempt for hard work and achievement and a love of a socialist redistrubitve...
Otto has changed her website twice and now all claims about her workload vis a vis Anderson have been removed. If were just "political theater", than her claims would still be there. As it were, the "assertions" were indefensible, they WERE challenged, and their removal proves that Otto was wrong. I wonder when she will apologize to Pat?
As long as State and Federal funds are used to pay for rebuilding state/federal infrastructure, All is well.
Please do not give one dime of my tax dollars in "government charity" to people who did not protect their own assets by buying insurance. Their poor choices should not cost me a penny.
I find it interesting that no one has suggested that the people who GO TO THE GAMES (and therefore the most ardent supporters) should pay for it.
Personal Seat Licenses, at $10K a pop average for 40,000 Season Ticket holders will get us half-way there. It will also lock in those folks to buying tickets for years to come after Favre retires and the team gets even worse than it has been. The Vikes pay the rest. Problem solved.
Or, how about a special tax on all Vikings...
"Absolutely, she's got a chance," Taylor-Nanista said this week"
Go ahead Ms. Nanista, keep spending money on a losing cause.
Good Luck Marty on your new endeavor. Thanks for your work in the House.
