I agree that finances are key, but they are not the only thing Ricky Rubio cares about.

We do know that money was important for staying in Spain, but was it the only reason he stayed in Spain? The absolute awfulness of the Timberwolves in 2009-2010 might also have motivated him to stay. Did staying in Spain involve a financial sacrifice? Probably not, but I don't remember the facts well enough to be sure.

All of that said, I think Ricky Rubio does care an unusual amount about...

Love still not shooting well, whispers and shouts about his lack of effort on defense. Jim Petersen has noted Love's horrible body language.

Why is no one else from the Olympic team having such difficult time getting into shape and staying into shape? The hand is no excuse for that one. Love needed to show up in shape this year and he did not. I think the shooting will come back, but I don't understand why the man was not in shape. Very disappointing. It feels like he took his foot...

Although, it would be the third playoff series victory in franchise history rather than the second.

Transition defense was awful last night. At least a few Wolves fast breaks, although ending in a nice basket and fancy passing, ended up producing quick Orlando dunks on the other end. Who should be staying back in those situations?
