Paul, I wondered more about the Sunday impact on downtown churches, since so many downtown retail shops are closed on Sunday. Checked out four, learned they all contracted for off-street parking long before this went into effect. Two of them, Gethsemane Episcopal and St. Olaf Catholic Churches, use the same ramp.

Doug: Enjoyed the conceit, but one nit: The Dodgers left Brooklyn after the 1957 season, not 1959.
...also made a drunk reference on the KFAN postgame show when interviewed by Greg Coleman in the locker room. He said something about wanting the fans this Sunday to show up "loud, crazy, drunk." There was fourth word in that sequence I didn't catch. Coleman, a former Viking, never followed up. Don't know if Greenway talked to Coleman before or after talking to the other reporters, but there were clearly separate interviews. Either way, pretty clueless.

About a 40 minute wait over lunch hour. This is a charter school that used to be a nursing home. It replaces the gym at St. Joan of Arc Catholic Church, and it's way too small to handle something like this. The room where we signed in and voted is a glorified double-classroom with barely enough room to move around, and even trickier for those with canes, walkers or wheelchairs.
