Congratulations Gov. to be, Mark Dayton. I'm looking forward to your leadership.

Minnestoa Nice is bending over backwards. Enough already. What does it take to get rid of a sore loser?...Displaced New Yorker

Posted on 11/24/10 at 12:49 pm in response to Average Minnesota property tax increase at record low

I am a retired registered nurse living in Rochester for the past six years. This year, my property taxes increased, but the assessed value of my house and property remained the same as the day I bought the house. Now, property taxes will be even higher. They increase yearly?

I have not seen any huge changes in the appearance of Rochester, nor services. I do wonder if there was a cost involved in placing statues of geese painted in bright primary colors throughout the city....

Who paid for Norm's trip to China? He isn't presidential material, so why is the soon to be ex-govenor taking such expensive trips??? How self serving! Bye-bye Normie.

Posted on 11/15/10 at 12:28 pm in response to Fox News: Minnesota voting machines rung up 'phantom' Dayton votes

I do not understand why anyone watches Fox News. I do not understand why anyone can watch Glen Beck and his comrades. Rather than having a civilized, factual conversation, these snake oil salesmen think shouting outrageous statements makes them believable. Substandard showmanship of lies are aimed at our democractic process. These so called news anchors need to join a travelling carnival, where they belong. Perhaps in protest, people of reason can boycott Fox News sponsors' products....

I will buy this book. As a baccalaureate registered nurse working on Long Island, NY, I met many gay patients, male and female, during my career. A person's sexuality is not a random choice. Those who look at gays with distain need to become more educated about the subject and be prosecuted for the misery they inflict on innocent victims.

I don't necessarily think there was a secular, anonymous donor. It is very possible that the
Vatican donated the money. Their coffers overflow...ex Catholic.

I remember seeing the King Tut exhibit in New York City back in the 1970's, I think. It was awesome. I was particularly awed by the artistic quality of the gold head/death mask. I hope to go to this upcoming event. Hoping for clear roads....Rochester, MN

This comment is VERY SCARY.
I have been thinking that she is a DITZ.
She comes across that way, but if Mr. Black
is concerned, then I am as well.
