You saying the Gov's appointment of a dairy farmer to head MnDOT wasn't such a good idea?

A liberal drew votes away from a conservative? How's that work? Did some conservatives say, "Instead of voting for a conservative, I think I'll vote for that liberal guy"?

As if Obama is the only President to have issued Executive Orders, like he just invented them last year or something.

You mean there are amendments that conservatives DON"T like?!!

Who knew?

For people who don't like lawyers or spending government money, they sure spend a lot of government money on lawyers.

What then is Roberts' excuse? Or Scalia?

Don't let the Democrats off the hook for financial deregulation. Glass-Stegall was repealed during the Clinton Administration. During the 90's and beyond there were numerous Democratic politicians who gave Wall Street whatever they wanted. Remember where Robert Rubin before Clinton hired him?

Don't you think that it is a lot easier to enforce a helmet law than a seat belt law? A helmet less motorcyclist is just a tad more obvious than an unbelted motorist, no?

I'm pretty sure the Voting Rights Act was passed by Congress and signed by LBJ, not imposed on us by an activist court (such as the Roberts Court). Same deal for the Civil Rights Act. And the NLRA.

So not everything, Dennis.

I'll resist the urge to make broad statements about the right, like right wingers having a poor grasp of history. As a progressive, I have narrow paint brushes and I use black, white, as well as grey.
