Wow, seriously MinnPost? Do you actually think that Bachmann would be so stupid as to confuse the two? These "gotcha" moments are getting really old really fast. John Wayne's parents did actually live in Waterloo before moving to Winterset - a fact easily found in one of his Biographies, so it's an easy mistake to make for Bachmann. In any event it's irrelevant to the point she was making and to try and associate her with a serial killer is beyond the pale.

Honestly I can't understand why this is even an issue for some people. People and families have things like this happen every day. Even when you teach kids that sex is only in a marriage between a man and a woman who love each other, sometimes they don't follow what you teach. Kids will have sex. Does that mean Gov. Palin has failed in some way? Not necessarily. I think it is sad that this has even become a news story. Give me a break people. Can't you find something better to talk...
