MinnPost is a nonprofit, nonpartisan enterprise whose mission is to provide high-quality journalism for news-intense people who care about Minnesota.
Donations and pledges totaling $25,000 or more have been made by each of the families and foundations listed. For a list of all donors by category, see our most recent Year End Report.
Who do you suppose Dunn ticked off so badly with his "inappropriate behavior" that he's going to be publicly exposed? Was this female subordinate someone important's wife or daughter? Someone that someone important wanted for him/herself? It seems pretty unusual to make a public deal out of a grabby-handed CEO. Perhaps this is a smoke screen for the actual business failure? Or maybe it's an attempt to get out of a gigantoid lawsuit? Or is it simply personal, as I've already suggested...
We're in a digital age, where companies regularly do business via interstate sales. If you're doing business in a state, you should know the tax code there. Since most businesses already have sales tax built into the system for in-state purchases, it shouldn't take a lot of effort to plug it into their systems for out of state. Yeah, a pain in the butt, and yeah, more paperwork for the business, but really...consumers are supposed to record all of their internet purchases and calculate it...
The invention of the telephone, and even better, the cell phone, has made it so easy to get law enforcement involved in a potentially dangerous crime and keep civilians out of it. Neighborhood crime watch is, in itself, a good thing. It's called crime WATCH, not crime apprehension, for a reason.
I'm not sure if my neighborhood has an official crime watch--I know that at least one nearby neighborhood does--but I feel good knowing that at least one neighbor would notice if something...
It really is about the fact that some people will not be allowed to vote that are otherwise eligible to vote. I don't care how they vote, honestly, and neither do a lot of people who are worried about the issue. If you are ok with someone else's rights being removed, however seemingly well-reasoned it is, don't be surprised when there's no one around to cover your rights when they start taking them away.
Because I can't find any independent verification (that is, a source that doesn't use the word "leftist" as a curse) of that claim. Rather, those people were/are members of the Congressional Progressive Caucus, whose website was temporarily hosted on the DSA website. Certainly some, if not all of the members of CPC work with the DSA, but it's for common goals, not identical political ideals. Still socialist does not equal communist. One can find more than one devil in the details, but if...
I don't care if racism was involved, the whole scenario was a crime against humanity of all colors.
The repeal of Wisconsin's Equal Pay Enforcement Act.

Actually, it's bordering on old news, now.
But not >50% of all the news in the state and nation worthy. As the Glean pulls from various topics and sources, one would expect 1, MAYBE 2, gleans on a single topic. There is a lot more going on in this state and country to devote half the news to a company we've known is sinking for years. Geez, who woulda guessed that the last major big box computer store was at risk of turnover at the top, when you step into a store that should have next to no local competition and they barely...
Brian, I know that you pay attention to what happens in Wisconsin? Am I missing something? I haven't seen anyone pick up the news that Gov. Walker just signed a roll back of the Equal Pay Enforcement Act.

I agree with Udstrand, Berg, and Kapphahn. I see no evidence for these "truths." As a matter of fact, as I was reading them, I literally went "huh?" So, I also looked up Mr. Slocum. Ahhh. That explains it. This is propaganda disguised as a reasoned analysis of (probably fictitious or GOP-funded) surveys. C'mon. The wool's not thick enough.
