So...9 years ago, you got Progressive Minnesota to refund a whole $180. How does this make it less difficult to tell the names of the two men apart? Oh, and the grand total, minus the $180, of course, was $3000. Heavy hitting stuff there, Mr. Swift. One must wonder how much time you spend finding these trivialities.

Didn't the superintendent say "Although no one can ever be absolutely certain of the specific event that leads to a student's suicide, there can be no doubt that in many situations, bullying is one of the contributing factors?" In other words, you can't prove it false any more than the school district can. Really, the only thing anyone has to offer is personal experience and first hand knowledge of what those students were facing when they committed suicide. I'll take the word of their...

Go ahead and list the top 10 reasons kids are bullied. Provide an appropriate link, as well. And then tell me how those top 10 reasons MUST be tied specifically to the Anoka-Hennepin school district.

The "investigations" are what I was referring to as CYA. Those "investigations" aren't the end all, be all. It has even been alleged that at least one investigation result was ignored because it didn't give the answer the district wanted. If those investigations were wholly accurate...

Target Field cost half the proposed Vikings stadium, INCLUDING infrastructure improvements, for 10 times the games?

Remember when all kinds of events, including the Vikings games, were held in the Metrodome without any problems?

Remember when the NFL threatened to black out the Vikings games because they couldn't even fill the Metrodome?

Remember when the Metrodome failed to spawn more long term jobs and business growth near the Metrodome, let alone anywhere else?

doesn't fund education or pay taxes.

To suggest we need a new stadium every time we want publicity is ridiculous. We have a stadium. Three, in fact. If that's not good enough for ya, do some PRIVATE fundraisers.

Currently, the DNR manages most, if not all of school trust lands. A bill (https://www.revisor.mn.gov/bin/bldbill.php?bill=S1152.0.html&session=ls87) has been introduced to remove that management because it is felt that the trust lands don't make enough money, and the costs for the DNR to run it eat up too much...

People don't simply increase the money they spend on frivolities when more frivolities become available. If I have $100 free to spend on stuff I don't need, I don't spend $150 because there's more stuff I don't need available. In other words, electronic pull tabs will only be successful if they successfully compete with the paper pull tabs that make money for charities. This is basic economics.

Accuracy is important. That's not what that little blurb said. It said it could generate more than expected, but it didn't say it wouldn't take away from current pull tab spending.

Having read many of your posts, I thought you were a fiscal conservative. If you are, you ought to know that wishful thinking doesn't multiply your money. A dollar is a dollar, regardless of what you spend it on. If you spent it on regular pull tabs, you don't automatically get a magic second dollar to...

Dayton's lucky that it's not an election year for him. Anyone on my ballot that has touched this will not get my vote.
