Give me a break. Common Cause only cares if it is a conservative group they are targeting. And that's exactly what they do. They file frivolous complaints in the hopes to drain resources from conservative organizations. These people wouldn't be "agog" if it was a liberal cause. MFC has been around for almost 30 years fighting for and against all kinds of issues. As far as the concerns about their donors, they are justified. Look what has happened to those that supported Proposition 8...

The progressives need to check theirs stats. The majority of Minnesotans support protecting marriage as between one man and one woman with an amendment to the state constitution. If anything it would bring out conservatives in an presidential election year. That's what you guys are afraid of here. Emmer probably would have won handily if he had been willing to take a position on this.

It's time to move forward on a marriage amendment that would insure marriage in Minnesota is between one man and one woman. You may not think it will effect your marriage, it does effect society as a whole and the children that are raised in these circumstances. And save your argument that heterosexual marriages are in rough shape. You don't lower the standard because people don't live up to it!

The tactics of those that support homosexual marriage to obfuscate the issue through emotion will not get them what they want (calling those that oppose the effort hateful among other things). It doesn't matter what they do to try to "normalize" their behavior and gain respect and acceptance. It is abnormal behavior. If every person on the planet supported GLBT efforts and said it was okay it still would not be.
