Annette Meeks is the type of person we could do without in public service. She is a very poor role model for young people. Her values are readily apparent and she is not the type of person we should want in public service.

Well, honestly, so Al Franken had his arm around Michele Bachmann. I can scoop that--Al Franken kissed me.

You know you are getting a little older when a man comes along and kisses you and his wife looks happy and says "nice to see you". And that's the way it happened.

That Al Franken is quite a hugger and a smoocher. These are important political facts that altogether too often go without notice by MinnPost.

This many not be relevant to this story but I just noticed that MinnPost does not permit use of foul language on this site. This story and that prohibition reminds of my own experience with fowl and foul. Turkeys all.

I live in a condo at the edge of a forest and we have ten awesome wild turkeys that live on and near our grounds. In the winter I see the turkeys sleeping high, high up in the trees. Entenza seems a bit like a turkey to me too.

Once again the arts managed to get big bucks from state government while science projects got cut. No wonder Minnesota has economic problems. Sciences, not arts, are our economic engine and the basis for our quality of life. Try have an artist diagnose and cure your health problem.

The arts lobby acts to the detriment of Minnesota as a whole.

I expect the Minnesota Republicans to be selfish and cruel so nothing they do disappoints me. I am still keenly disappointed by the Democrats, however.

When times are tight, the Democrats should be looking at cutting down on lavish and frivolous spending and beefing up programs such as GAMC that meet basic needs. This is a great article. Thanks for writing it. The video is outstanding. I hope we all try to get others to watch that video. It gives reality to the real suffering, pain and agony many will experience as a result of the Pawlenty and Republican cuts in social programs in Minnesota.

The reality of these budget cuts are seniors who live out the end of their lives suffering unnecessary pain and misery. Cruel, cruel, cruel. How can these Republicans be so sadistic? Or is evil the...

I totally agree. But I think I need to go even a bit further. Pawlenty, with his sadistic plans to increase physical suffering of seniors (mainly women) and poor persons with disabilities, is not psychologically fit for office. If given the opportunity, Pawlenty has the potential to become one of the more cruel and evil persons in history.
