The current tax code is littered with loopholes favoring ultra high income individuals, i.e. Warren Buffet. (At least he had the good grace to acknowledge the disparity.) Think about the tax schemes to park money in offshore entities to avoid US Tax. Have you looked at the effective US tax rates that are paid by Fortune 500 companies? The DNR did NOT listen to Minnesota residents. We killed off a sizeable chunk of the wolf poulation in one season! They've finally, finally, after much deep thought and careful consideration decided that it might be a good idea to suspend the the moose hunt. Way to go!

Really? That is exactly what this whole effort and discussion is about: hamper gun ownership! Rep Gifford said it simply - "We must ACT now. Too many children are dying." We have incidents of innocent people being killed with guns almost every day in the news. Canada doesn't, the UK doesn't, and France doesn't. Can't we see and acknowledge that we are an extremely violent country because guns are so readily available?
