Come on boys it only politics.... Pawlenty does a good job at speaking to the center right Republican. The governor could very well be the person to harness the next generation republican.
Thomas, as you so eloquently put it...
"Squirt us some tears"
#6 Perhaps you take your mission as a "notorious exposer of left wing prevarication" a bit too serious.
Your habit of dismissing statistics and data that do not support your point of view is quite clear. As #9 points out, your argument seems based more on contempt than sound reasoning. Its really no more sophisticated than that.
Rob, your thoughtful comments really seem to cut to the heart of the matter. Bless you for your compassion.
If the answer is to cover everyone and not make changes as to how we operate this incredibly expensive system. It would be similar to throwing fuel on an existing fire.
We need to be more bold and brave about reforming the delivery system. To make it rational, fair and to make it more economically efficient. This is the side of the equation that we have more to work on...
Mr. Mesaros:
I seem to notice a pattern to most all your comments, and that would be that you snip and paste from the Lyndon LaRouche website.
Do you think that your time would be better spent coming up with your own original and thought provoking ideas that might stimulate the conversation?

The problem is that everyone of those dollars is someones revenue stream. And they don't want to give it up. What you're seeing right now is the irresistible force of heath care reform meeting the immovable object which is a very powerful and very entrenched industry that counts on that revenue growing every year...
Nice sentiment Mike, thanks for sharing...
Now for something completely different....
Democrats make plans and then do something else. Republicans follow the plans their grandfathers made.
Democrats keep trying to cut down on smoking but are not successful. Neither are Republicans.
Republican boys date Democratic girls. They plan to marry Republican girls, but feel that they're entitled to a little fun first.
Republicans sleep in twin beds--some even in...
Sounds like some good old economic stimulus for the ad agencies and radio. About time the GOP did something meaningful for the economy.
I am glad they (GOP) have a plan. Especially one I understand. Denial
Swiftee,
Day off from "pair`o dice"?
Perhaps if that "high turnout rate" agreed more with your political ideology you might be more "proud" of the results. Kinda thought that you might be rolling out to Deadwood or Spearfish by now.
Minnesota should be proud of the efforts of its citizens and the volunteers of all political stripes. These individuals work together to make our system work. Tip of the hat to all of them!
