MinnPost is a nonprofit, nonpartisan enterprise whose mission is to provide high-quality journalism for news-intense people who care about Minnesota.
Donations and pledges totaling $25,000 or more have been made by each of the families and foundations listed. For a list of all donors by category, see our most recent Year End Report.
It was Broadkorp who used to intimidate and bully the errant Republicans. The same ones he is suing.
For the CC, that means the poor will pay for their tax breaks, and schools, and disabled, and so on. Predictable.

Is that the right continues to darkly hint at conspiracies to kill President Obama then attack him for the necessary secret service protection. Not to mention how cowardly it is to involve children.
Grew up on a farm. The real fight is that the finial part of Ag was merged with PCA and big Ag does not like this. Nothing more or less.
The one committee comment flew at me too, very rare, although I have heard from friends in DC he is pretty influential on Ag.
WSJ has a well known ideological bent and the U kicked a prominent Republican public freeloader, (servant), off their board. Could there be a connection, since Mr. Swiggum was so upset, between the U's action with him and the papers conclusions?
Would not be surprised, since the documentation in the article seemed so scant. And this administrative bloat was Mr. Sviggum's personal crusade during his time as a regent.
Enjoyed more staffing than Democrats when in power and then spent most of THIS years budget last year on salaries, etc. (I have heard the number of 96% already spent from this years budget). If there are cuts, the state is just doing what any family sitting around the kitchen table would do, living within their means.
Last year's Republican Senate has already spent 96% of THIS YEARS Senate budget, so it looks like Sviggum again has maximized his freeloading on the taxpayers by staying on as long as he did, doing very little. Typical Republican, all talk and no real principles.
Is they love their abstract ideology about how the world should be rather than what it is.
