There was an increase of $1B on the revenue side but the Republicans continue to deny the deficits they ran up under Pawlenty, a number between 4-6B. They owe K-12 over 3B for "borrowing" from it to balance th budget. Using the bank or kitchen table analogy they so like to use, the paycheck came in with a bonus, but net balance is still very negative.

Is living evidence to the old joke of we know what you are, it is just the price we are haggling about.

Are victims of the new politics, it doesn't matter what your votes are, it only matters what party you are. Being a moderate in his district may do ok, but to the Republicans he is just the opposition and facts, needs or policy be damned. He is the other side and is to be destroyed.
Might be time to recalibrate because he will not be able to bring home the bacon.

REpublicans spent the last four years denying the legitimacy of the president and 53 million voters, spending their efforts on his birth certificate, bogus films about his birth, mouthing off on Faux News about his policies in a mendacious manner.
Now we see Boehner dropping an f-bomb on Harry Reid, in the same class as Cheney when he sent an f-bomb Leahey's way in his adminstraion. And the Republicans continue to deny they lost and want to start this ridiculous concept of a majority...

A constitutional amendment to make it the official cereal of the Legislature? Maybe put Bradley Dean on the cover?

Take this story and juxtapose the story about WBL and the DNR and you have the environmental catastrophe in waiting that we have. The wealthy want to not be inconvenienced, taxed nor bothered and they want the commons to provide them the solution at no cost to their own ignorance. The arrogance of the person who starts this article,"I am proud to be an American", says it all. My opinion is all that matters- science and the majority be damned. WBL is being drained by climate changed...

The Republicans will drive off the fiscal cliff. Why? They deny hat their policies were rejected and they will punish the country to show them their votes were wrong. No lose for them till 2014, and they can change the story again.
