Energy ignorance among legislators in St Paul and D.C., especially with my fellow Democrats, is endemic. I don't know the answer, but we need to correct this or we are in for trouble.

It was the progressive Republican Party of Lincoln which led the fight against slavery in Civil War days. Times have certainly changed.
This makes way too much sense for our intellectually and ethically challenged government policy makers. But keep trying.

The average American still thinks we rank number one in most of the positive categories. Tea Partiers especially continuously announce how great we are, but with few specifics.
We do have 3.5 million square miles of the finest lands on earth, but we don't make very good use of them.

Way to go Dr. Frost. The clowns who have just finished performing in St Paul and D.C. legislatures just don't get it. I'm not sure what it will take when we can see the success of Medicare and the single payer systems in the rest of the developed world. Add the lower cost younger people to Medicare and you have a winner.
Dennis: What is it going to take to "teach these people" that our inefficient medical system is a major reason for that $14 trilion debt. We spend twice as much per person on medical care as other developed nations do, with often poorer results.
