I am liking the Mike & Mike show a lot more than I thought I would. I don't care for Colin Cowherd however.

WCCO simply plays way too many commercials and has too many things that are sponsored ("this weather forecast brought to you by...)

I know that's how the make money but maybe they could charge the advertisers more and advertise less. That might get people like me to listen more.

www.graveck.com is from St. Paul and they created the Skee-Ball app for the iPhone. It has been one of the top sellers in the iTunes App Store for a long time.

Would he be okay with it if we changed the word "tax" to "fee"?

Mr. Kapphahn,

Please provide some examples of how "executive compensation packages are as outrageous, if not moreso than in the for-profit sector".

If you want insurance companies to cover everyone regardless of their pre-existing conditions, you must have a requirement in place to ensure that everyone has insurance or face a significant penalty. The penalties being proposed are just not significant enough to prevent people from simply not carrying insurance until they need it.

Posted on 02/11/10 at 04:31 pm in response to Health care for state officials: Is it fair when others go without?

What's even more upsetting to me is that the State often exempts themselves from new mandates that they require all other plans in MN to include.

People argue that these mandates are too expensive, but they pass them anyway, only too exempt themselves because they are too expensive.

Lets not forget too that it was Rosen who broke the story earlier in the week that Joe Mauer had signed a 10 year deal with the Twins, only to be refuted by Joe Mauer himself.

Ms. Rosar,

The Minnesota Association of Health Underwriters (MAHU) hosted a health insurance panel discussion this past Friday at their annual convention in Brooklyn Park. Two democratic candidates were invited but bowed out at the last minute. Does than mean they are not concerned about health care? By your logic, it must.

Posted on 01/20/10 at 03:16 pm in response to What it means: Minnesota politicians assess Massachusetts vote

Rep. Bachman and Mr. Sutton are reacting exactly how I hoped they wouldn't.

In my opinion, the people of Mass. did not want one party running the show so they voted in a Republican. That doesn't mean they want a Republican run government, they just want some balance.

I would have hoped that Rep. Bachman and Mr. Sutton would acknowledge that they also got the message that people want things done but without all the partisanship.

Posted on 01/19/10 at 09:19 am in response to Mass Sen race: Repub Brown leads in six of last seven polls

I'm an independent and don't like partisan politics but I do hope the Rep. wins because I don't like having any one party in control of everything.
