I'd be interested to know whether the Strib, while researching its story, read the City Pages story.
If yes, was using the label "exclusive" discussed among the Strib's editorial folks in advance?

I heard today that even if the NY Times gets 1% of it's current online audience to buy, the paper will make $65 million dollars.
I will be among that 1%. The reasons, and the Times' role in news gathering, are obvious to me.
The other 99% are well represented across social media in their criticism for a variety of reasons, valid and not.
But let's remember just how few people need to pay for this, for it to be deemed an initial success....a success that...

I've been a fan of Mischke's show and I hope he re-surfaces in a time slot that fits his talents even more. It's one thing to hear him; another to watch him at work. I filled in at KS on a few occasions and as I waited to go on after his show, I'd look thru the glass into his studio. What a talent, what a sight watching him converse not just with listeners, but with himself...ad libbing all the way, stream of consciousness, holding court in his own mind....all painting a vivid...
