Only if your mind is closed.

Nice double Straw man with a full false, false equivalency twist. (Love the quotations around words nobody wrote.)
You're a team player, emotionally invested in a political party. I get that, and that's your right, but I find it sad.
//I’m just kinda biased toward history, logic and consistency, and the claim of an inexplicable/suspicious (but really quite normal) divided result of an election started bothering me right away on Tuesday when I first heard Sutton make it.
What would Brian Melendez have said if the situations were reversed?
Whatever he needed too, just like Sutton did.
This is no Franken/Coleman. 9000 votes is a huge number to overcome. The only way Emmer wins is if they find 10,000...
//I'm amazed and delighted to find in Minnesota someone else who can dredge up lines from my all-time favorite movie.
Ray, That's from the dead parrot sketch on the show. Are you thinking of "Bring out your dead?" from MP and the Holy Grail? Because that's just as accurate!
//Is MinnPost a credible, objective news source? If so, it has been suckered....
You must be new here.
Credible yes. Objective, most of the time.
You'll get your "balance" closer to election day.

//Thank you.
You're welcome.
//However, in this particular case, I am not really sure that it applies.
You see racism where it doesn't exist. There are a couple of explanations for this, none very flattering.
//And, by the way, I'm done here.
Typical. But you'll come back and look.
//There are good ideas from both the "left" and the "right" and would like to see more people of good faith discussing them civilly and working together for the greater good instead of ideological purity..
Amen.
The biggest problem we face is the team mentality our "ruling class" have so successfully implemented for their own profit. They have taken divide and conquer to a level not seen for a very long time.
JJ, Please Google "the rule of holes"
Government cannot simply spend what it wants to spend."
If Emmer can pound that line, and make it the defining issue.
He wins.
dan b,
Can you explain how your 17 year old came to be without insurance?
//What we really have here is health insurance reform.
Wow!
Eric, this "health insurance reform" creates dozens of new government agencies.
What exactly is your definition of "new program"?
