Disorganization, leaderless, myth based principles, the word compromise deleted from their lexicon, not for anything, but against everything, and desperate pretty much defines the Republican Party. Our state needs a two party system to get the best for everyone. Unfortunately for the Republicans, in the last election their party heard from the electorate loud and clear, telling them they are not what Minnesotan's want. Several years back the Republican Party couldn't decide if they should...
Granted the Republican's have a messenger problem, but "They still insist that the problem is not what they believe, but how they express it. “We do not need to change what we believe as conservatives — our principles are timeless,” “But we do need to reorient our focus to the place where conservatism thrives — in the real world beyond the Washington Beltway, so says Bobby Jindal.” There is no place Republican conservatism is thriving. That is why they are losing elections. It is just...

Talk about bad choices. She led her party through two fruitless years of Republicans pet social engineering projects when she should have led them through issues that would have created jobs and helped with budget/deficit issues that would have benefited all Minnesotans. Things would have gone a lot better for her if the word "Compromise" hadn't left her dictionary. She complains about her party's ineffectiveness, I guess she feels she was effective when she was the so called leader. She...
Just great, now there will be inaction one day sooner. That is real progress. If they want to filibuster something they should at least have to have to be fully involved in the process during the duration of their filibuster. I bet they are having a hard time wiping the smirk off of McConnell's face, because he is jumping with joy. Why are they compromising with the Republicans who have wiped the word compromise from their dictionary. Harry Reid has been lying to the electorate for the...
The Republican Party apparently don't realize, yet, that they lost everything in Minnesota in the last election by having the very same attack lines that lost the previous election for them. Now they will come back with everything they have from Ronald Reagan's tired, failed platitudes and myths and hope they will work this time. The state has moved on and the party hasn't. Senator Hann, in every interview so far, you have shown nothing but contempt toward anyone who doesn't think like...
Given the shape of the national Republican Party I'm not sure the Minnesota Republican's should be taking direction from the national Republican's. Republicans at all levels have to stop putting forth candidates from the fringe of the party. If there are any moderates left, they need to step forward and start leading.
The last two years the Minnesota Republican Party had the chance to lead in a responsible manner and they chose to only work Republican social engineering projects,...
Don't expect anything in your sense of the term "leader" to be chosen. The Republican's are into ideological zealots right not, not leaders. How long will it be before the Republican's are going to make meaningful changes that will stop their losing streak. I suspect it will be more good news for the Democrats coming out of the Republican "leader" selection. It will be another zealot from the fringe of the party. That is unless some Republican moderates develop a backbone and take their...
The Republicans have to stop putting forth candidates from the fringe of the party. If there are any moderates left, they need to step forward and start leading. The last two years the party had the chance to lead in a responsible manner and they chose to only work Republican social engineering projects, legislation that served only a small segment of the population, and sexual escapades. This last election the voters told the Republicans, loud and clear, they are not what we want. Even...
It is part of her Republican, tea party, pedigree. Someone should take her pay away until she stops talking. Bachmann is bad for the country, Republican Party, and the tea party. With credentials like that why is she on the Intelligence Committee? If she is on the Intelligence Committee it proves intelligence is very shallow in the Republican Party. This is what we get when there are many so called leaders in their party. Party leader is singular. The Republicans, by their own loose...
