was already arrived at during the 2000-2005 process. While I can understand the political need for lip-service to be paid to the notion, there was never a need to do what already had been done all over again.
because it has to deal with environmental concerns that no other bridge has ever had to address. You can bet that when the six-lane Highway 169 bridge was built in Bloomington (to replace the old, decrepit Bloomington Ferry bridge) that there was no similar concerns about the Minnesota River.
because of work along Highway 36, some of which would have to be done even if no bridge was built. The actual bridge cost is split 50/50 between Wisconsin and Minnesota.
For supporters of an Arden Hills stadium to go on about the convoluted process is ironic, given the machinations about a referendum on a half-cent sales tax in Ramsey County. (Which, honestly, is too much and was what killed that stadium proposal.)

Likening gays to Nazis? I guess some people still don't know what the origin of those pink triangles is.
would be to pick Rush Limbaugh as his VP. Which, obviously, has a down side.
The renewal of the tax reciprocity agreement between Minnesota and Wisconsin won't take effect until after the 2012 tax year, so we Wisconsinites who work in Minnesota will still get to file MN returns for another year.
