Posted on 12/19/12 at 04:13 pm in response to Fall 2012 radio ratings: What's going on with talk?

David, you should revisit MPR's changeover to the Daily Circuit format and see whats up. I find it easier to now wander off after Cathy Wurzer signs off depending on what they have on. Previously regardless of guest before the current format I would have MPR on at the office but ever since Daily Circuit debuted I don't feel I am missing anything. But I could be outside the demo they were after with the change. If I know in advance who is at the Westminster Town Hall forum I will make an...

Posted on 12/19/12 at 02:44 pm in response to Expanding sales tax to clothing and services tempts Dayton

Cameron, you have a point. Even celebrities have been known to do a few hours layover at MSP airport to do some shopping because of the no sales tax on clothes. As a state we need to be careful that we don't go after the sales tax on clothes and then retail activity at MoA and other malls goes down and people get laid off. The surge for KMOJ might be due to the fact that they increased their signal strength. Now fans of theirs like myself that live beyond the first ring suburbs can pick them up on old fashioned radio.

Stronger signal went live in December or thereabouts and that combined with the format change at 96.3 was a confluence of events that has turned out well for KMOJ.

Before the signal boost, you could only stream online if you were outside of the city of Minneapolis and...

Always love your take on things but you are way off on this one.

I would say most Egyptians want a free and fair elections. However, by demanding that Mubarak go now, they are saying that they do not trust him to oversee the transition. His actions these past 30 years has proven that

Mubarak to the protestors represent

Dictators are not stupid. Who is to say that Mubarak does not come up with some other excuse between now and when the elections are to be...

Posted on 10/19/09 at 04:25 pm in response to Media outlets (mostly) reject Mall of America Field moniker

I had to listen to the game on 100.3 FM and heard Mall of America field mentioned numerous times, granted its Vikings Radio and not sure how many listen in on radio but that combined with a few mentions on TV during the live broadcast is enough payback for MOA.A live audience packs more punch than local media I think.
