#! Interesting claims. Obama, community organizer, civil rights lawyer, state legislator, senator, and you truly believe he had no "real job"?
I went to my mayor, Jim Erbs, of Charles City, Iowa. I proposed a community initiative to bring broadband infrastructure to our community. It would cost the city budget zero dollars. It would create affordable broadband for our kids to access their school network and gain a true 21st century education. In response, I received a letter,...
Markowitz, 37, says she was a little nervous about Palin's speech, not knowing how well she would do. But she "more than exceeded my expectations,'' she enthused, describing the VP candidate as "strong, intelligent, honest, willing to fight for what she believes in and not afraid of the establishment."
One question for this local republican leader: Palin speech written by republican speech writers, read from teleprompters, and her performance means what?
Obama uses speech...
"But how would you like to be cursed at and spat at . . . " You call this reporting facts? There are hundreds of hours of video on the Internet covering events this week. I challenge you to provide documentation for this blatant lie.
" . . . parts of downtown St. Paul over the last week have more closely resembled the fog of battle than a lawyerly seminar." Protests against the social issues and their treatment by Republican administration are not supposed to look like lawyerly...
Now that the country understands Minneapolis/St. Paul residents truly embrace the police state, and understand that many need to be abused in order to minimize some windows being broken, it's time to get back to important matters. The stadium, or bridges? Oh, sorry. We're not supposed to bring up the idiocy of the residents of Minneapolis/St. Paul folks.
Remarkable claim: it would be far less costly to the American taxpayer to relocate the entire city — including building new homes for its transferred residents — than to continue to rebuild and maintain a levee and dike system that is destined to fail.
Hopefully, the author will provide readers with more than Republican sound bites.
#10 Ron: Brauer is a wannabe corporate media jerk. I'm sure AP gave him permission to publish the photo. Of course, there would be written permission, along with any little details, like final editing of the article would lie with AP. Once final censorship is granted, article could go forward. You know, standard operating procedures among the media consolidated entities, here in America.
One notices quickly, that Brauer is willing to avoid Constitutional questions surrounding the...
Some would call the article, interesting. I call it appalling, if true. Hopefully, Reva will have the good sense to have the Chinese student type in the URL, wwww.democracynow.org and spend a few minutes watching, reading, listening to Amy Goodman's account of her arrest during the time she was on her tour.
I hope Reva takes a moment, and visits the site, http://twitter.com/coldsnaplegal, and...
Without special protection, reporters will not risk their lives to gather information to inform the public. In a police state, the police will provide the press with "appropriate" footage.
How about, without special protection, police will not be able to have third party support for their actions, and will have to defend themselves in never-ending "he said, she said" actions in court.
How about, Marisa likes the idea of a police state.
Your carefully chosen photos and complete misrepresentation of the facts are a joke, MinnPost editors. You let Joe spew this garbage, or did you order him to write this nonsense if he wanted to keep his job.
The better way for readers to be informed, would be to follow the activities with updates from those with first-hand experience:

I'll match your photos and raise you massive neocon arrests of lawyers, medics, journalists, photographers, and Amy Goodman, so far. You are encouraged to visit:
