Donations and pledges totaling $25,000 or more have been made by each of the families and foundations listed. For a list of all donors by category, see our most recent Year End Report.
it seems too bad that we have lost our "sand is food" proponents.

Swift,
I offer for your perusal the entire sentence you reference in your comment:
"It does not offer access to a database of individuals likely to vote one way or another."
While the full sentence isn't as useful as a base for snarky comments as your fragment is, it does have the advantage of being true.

Bill Maher, to pick one example, laughs easily, tells the truth, and doesn't suffer fools gladly, yet liberals don't despise him. There must be another reason for liberal disdain of Gingrich.
His hypocrisy and his inability to separate private gain from public good are reasons I dislike him, but I do enjoy his sense of humor.
I disagree with Sutton's assessment: it appears that Tony Trimble got rolled.
