No state money for a Viking statium unless there is an additional tax on the rich to pay for it.
The Republican legislators were willing to destroy the Minnesota economy in order to push their extreme Right-Wing agenda. If you don't want even more damage, remember this at next election time.
I would suggest no state money for the Minnesota Vikings unless there is a very large surtax on all Minnesotans who make over $200,000 a year. As long as the rich in both the state and country are totally under-taxed, the United States will be hurting severely. The bad economy is completely the result of the dismal failure of the George W. Bush tax cuts. This is no time for Koch-addled Republican legislators.
Michele Bachmann is a strong voice speaking up for the rich and powerful against the Middle Class and the poor.
How come is no one in the media reporting on the relationship of these Republican legislators with the Koch brothers and 'Americans for Koch Prosperity'? This is the major issue of this shutdown, since these Republican legislators are following in lockstep the Koch brothers' marching orders. Yet there is no one in the media that either sees this or has the courage to report on it. Why not?
The main reason the Koch-addled Minnesota Republican legislators are so concerned about keeping the Stillwater bridge open is because they want to help their Koch-buddies across the river in Wisconsin.
I don't know where these Republicans get off thinking that rich people shouldn't pay their fair share of taxes. The Koch brothers must be paying them a lot of money.
The out-of-state billionaire Koch brotheres are essentially running Minnesota now. They told these Republican legislators what to do, and these legislators, good waterboys that they are, are doing what they are told, because they receive campaign funding from the Koch brothers. I don't think even the illionaires and millionaires of Minnesota would harm Minnesota, but these out-of-state Koch brothers don't really care.
These Republicans just adore their billionaire out-of-state campaign financiers like the Koch brothers and will do anything for them, even shut Minnesota down. I think millionaires and billionaires from Minnesota would be willing to pay their fair of taxes in order to keep Minnesota healthy. But these out of state financiers don't care about Minnesota at all, and the Republican legislators are dancing to their beat.
If Bachmann can finish off the presidential campaign of Tim Pawlenty, she will be doing the United States an important public service.
