It's great to see Van White get honored in this way ; he certainly deserves the recognition. the article should have also acknowledged, however, that the only reason we will now have this historic and long overdue linkage between North Minneapolis and South Minneapolis is due to a lawsuit. the Hollman consent decree, finalized in 1995, in part called for breaking down the isolation of the sumner glenwood area by creating a direct connection between that area and the Dunwoody/Walker area....
