The Stadium drawings look nice and it's been said we can get a movable dome for only $25 million or so more so why not a movable dome like other recent NFL Stadiums? Sports Themed Lottery Games are a part of the Stadium Bill/Law all Governor Dayton has to do is say the word. $975 million and you can't come up with $25 million more, would you buy a $40,000 Car and not put a sunroof on it? Two years at TCF and people will want a movable dome which is used 35% of the times in other Stadiums...

$200 million was allotted for renovating Target Center which provides a new loading dock and a glass facade on the building but does nothing for the fan experience or sell tickets. TC the fifth oldest arena and is rated the 28 & 29th worst in the NBA why are we doing this when we can have a new TC for $400 million? New gets will gets us NCAA Championship Basketball games every year & other new events for $600 million in economic impact just over the next 10 years plus we save $400...

A new Stadium with $100/$85 million from the Wolves, new Naming Rights money from Target or US Bank going directly to the Arena costs and Doug Grow showing that $10 million a year from the Hennepin County Sales Tax and the Convention Center Tax would mean that some will be cash and some like you say occur debt but not $800 million. The alternative is building in 2026 with at least a $200 greater cost and the $600 million impact is for just the first 10 years when open. Your are right that...

A Global Solution where all Professional & Gopher Sports Venues & the Convention Center are under one Management structure covering all debt with a single Revenue source is what’s needed and a Mall of America Phase II & Stadium with a MOA II Revenue Zone with revenue sharing for that and a New Street-wide Mall Like Skyway System are the answer for Minneapolis and instead of $100 Million for a revamped aging Target Center why not build a new one that will be shared with the...

The Metrodome employ's 22 Full time People and 400 Part Time with 5 hour shifts 10 days a year and the new Stadium will be the same. $1 Billion to build it and no new full time regular jobs.

A Mall of America Phase II & Stadium will bring back 5 Million Tourists that we've lost since 2000 and that will create 5,000 Full time Jobs of 30 hours or more a week and bring in $2 Billion from out-side of Minnesota, New Money. The choice of a Stadium approach will have a 25-year impact...

Great comments here. Only a Mall of America Phase II & Stadium would create new Jobs from the new Tourism it will bring in. They will be "core city jobs" that give people at start in life and what's needed for the people in your district need and a Downtown Stadium doesn't help them, so if you care...

Posted on 02/25/12 at 06:30 pm in response to Despite map, Star Tribune land not in latest Vikings stadium plan

Ownership of land around a new plan for the Metrodome hasn't been mentioned in the StarTribune Vikings Stadium Stories as well as anything on a Stadium at Mall of America where they don't own land and Xanadu Mall in New Jersey which will kill MN Touirsm and Mayor Rybak likes good press and formerly worked for the StarTribune, isn't some of Zygi's Land on... Chicago... Ave., get my drift. MOA Stadium would have meant 5 Million new Tourists a year, 5,000 new Jobs and $2 Billion a year in new...

Posted on 10/07/11 at 05:20 pm in response to Long-running Vikings stadium debate could drag on for years yet

A Mall of America Stadium with a Phase II will bring Tourism and Jobs to Minnesota and it could be the change needed for MN Gopher Football. Top talent wants National TV Broadcasting MOA Stadium with worldwide recognition will get games on TV, Gopher Rival Games with Wisconsin, Iowa & Nebraska
will all that will travel will sell 100,000 tickets which gets the games on TV and the Talent here to play, just need Governor Dayton to help and that's the viking buzz...

Posted on 08/09/11 at 06:48 pm in response to Zygi Wilf confident a new Vikings stadium will happen

Mall of America Phase II & Stadium will have an economic impact of $4 Billion due to the 15 million tourists who will return to MN compared to a tourism value of $2 million a year for any other stadium site. Do you think anyone is going to drive up from Iowa to see a Stadium in Arden Hills or Downtown Mpls.?, MOA, you betcha. So why is the media ignoring MOA, and Governor Dayton, and minnpost.com? maybe the answer is a vikingbuzz.

A Small World, figured out that a Mall of America Stadium will help the Football Gophers by playing Rival Games like Wisconsin, Iowa & Nebraska which with the travel traffic and shopping you could sell 100,000 tickets and it would be on National TV which is what top talent wants and man with the most stadium knowledge in MN is Jay, will be sending him a letter with much information which I've done many times before, it just proves that age old saying... you can run but you can't hide......
