Reveremd Kapphahn: I think it is time you drop the "King Timmy" stuff. Unless you want to read years and years of posts about "King Marky Mark." These things do cut both ways, you know.
Rep. Bachmann's real world is parallel to enough other real worlds to get her re-elected. Whether the above commenters like it or not, that's the vote that counts. At least until she needs to run again.
Mr. Sparber, I'm looking forward to seeing "True Grit" so am unable to respond to your comments about the Coens' movie. So I'm confining myself to your interesting comments about Fitzgerald. A couple of nitpicky things: Fitzgerald died of a heart attack, and there's no second "The" in the name of his novel "The Beautiful and Damned." More significantly, I'd have to say that Fitzgerald does address the subject of the past in America dead on in the final paragraphs of "The Great Gatsby,"...
Mr. Black: Your comments about Mr. Emmer's conduct are very appropriate. Thank you.
Congratulations to Karl Reichert and crew!

The only way the voters of Hennepin County know the count is by Rachel Smith's office's reporting. My concern isn't a political. It has to do with managment, performance and responsibility in a...
Oberstar had a very good grasp of the issues facing both the airline industry and airline passengers (sometimes these issues are different). He used his committee chairmanship effectively. It is my hope he will find a way to continue to be heard on this subject.
Wells Fargo cannot admit wrongdoing, because Wells Fargo didn't do anything wrong. Wachovia and World Savings may have taken advantage of people, but that was before Wells Fargo bought them. In an acquisition, the acquirer may have to pay up for the sins of the acquired company without having to atone for those sins.
Why no mention of flexible scheduling, which allows people to avoid peak period rush hour (I do this), or telecommuting?
