MinnPost.com is proud to launch the Young Professionals Network, where Minnesota’s young professional organizations and their members can connect with one another and other interested readers.

On MinnPost’s YPN, you’ll find:

• Blog posts by coordinator Audra Otto and web editor Corey Anderson on social media, business, emerging technology, gender issues, the economy, the workplace, entertainment, and other topics of interest toYPN readers.

• Event information, photos, profiles, job postings, volunteer opportunities and other content provided by the approximately 30 YPN member organizations, ranging from Urbanites — Ordway’s Young Professionals Group — to T.C. Jewfolk, to the Economic Development Association of MN Young Professionals. Email ypn@minnpost.com if you oversee a young professionals organization or event in Minnesota and would like to join MinnPost’s network.

• Information on events hosted by MinnPost’s YPN for all of its diverse member organizations — events where designers, artists, writers and  theatergoers can exchange ideas with lawyers, accountants and engineers. We’ll spread the word about events through social media and members’ communication channels.

• A conversation among readers through site comment and the YPN Facebook group.

• Occasional contests, surveys, quizzes, and other features to engage young professionals.

  1. Great I’m interested in hearing more about volunteer opportunities. Sometimes it is hard to get people to trust your services and volunteer opportunities are a great way to prove yourself and promote your work! Can’t wait to hear more from this.
