Echo Press of Alexandria, Minn., reports that Enterprise Minnesota will use the proceeds of a $515,000 national grant to help Minnesota-based manufacturers develop and implement innovative strategies that lead to growth.
Enterprise Minnesota -- a nonprofit designed to help Minnesota manufacturing companies grow profitably -- was one of 22 organizations nationwide awarded a Pathways to Business Growth grant by the National Institute of Standards and Technology (NIST) Manufacturing Extension Partnership (MEP).
The $9.1 million grant program funds projects designed to enhance the productivity, technological performance and global competitiveness of U.S. manufacturers.
