LOTT Fellows will host 'A Celebration of Women in the Arts' fundraiser 3 p.m. Saturday, Apr. 16

The 2011 League of Women Voters Minnesota Education Fund LOTT Fellows proudly present A Celebration of Women in the Arts, a fundraiser benefiting the Arizona Bridge Project for teenage girls with interest in the arts.
Each year, the Leaders of Today and Tomorrow Fellows produce a group project. The group project provides an opportunity to practice the leadership skills we are working on in the program. This year, the 13 fellows have selected an ambitious project and we need your support.

The LOTT Fellows are holding a celebration of women in the arts to benefit the Arizona Bridge Project, an initiative of Old Arizona in Minneapolis, which serves inner-city teenage girls who have an interest in performing, media and visual arts, and is a successful means by which young women learn to make positive life choices. The event will feature:
- performances by women artists
- a silent auction with artwork by local artists
- a "kids corner" with art supplies
- so much more!
Tickets are available online through Thursday or can be purchased at the door.
Time: 3-6 p.m.
Date: Saturday, Apr. 16, 2011
Place: Old Arizona Studios, 2821 Nicollet Ave., Minneapolis, MN 55408
Cost: $5
