Among the newcomers to the list is Julie Kramer, whose “Stalking Susan” mystery has received a lot of attention including being nominated for the Mary Higgins Clark award.  

You can see a complete list of finalists here for the 21st annual awards, sponsored by the Friends of the St. Paul Library. Winners will be announced April 25 at a gala.

If you scroll down the page a bit, you also will see a list of the nominees and just how difficult it might have been for 24 judges in the state to narrow the list to four finalists in each category. We are the land of 10,000 published writers. Maybe they should think about five finalists in the future?

Readers have a chance to vote for the Readers’ Choice Award during the month of March, and The Friends encourage you to get busy.
