Brave New Workshop’s Favre play offers zinger title

You gotta love those titles. The Brave New Workshop recently announced its winter season of two shows — and the first is a zinger.

Opening Nov. 13 is “Brett Favre’s Christmas Spectacular: The Immaculate Interception.” That’s followed on Feb. 12 with “How to Make Love Like a Minnesotan III: The Full Montevideo.”

The later show is the threequel to other revues with similar titles that have dealt with tundra love and other issues. The two shows are the 268th and 269th revues, respectively, for the venerable workshop in Uptown.

The current show, which closes on Oct. 31, is “The Brave New Workshop Saves the Planet; or Yes We Can, but Do We Have To?”
