Zorongo Flamenco Dance Theatre’s summer café performances are treasure-troves of live music and dance. For the company’s performances this weekend, three generations of dancers from across the United States are featured. In addition to the internationally acclaimed Susana di Palma, Zorongo’s artistic director and premier dancer, the performance showcases New York City-based Nelida Tirado.

Singled out as “magnificent” by the New York Times, Tirado brings a youthful ferocity and grace to the flamenco dance form. Also on the program is Caminos Flamenco’s Yaelisa from San Francisco,  whom the Los Angeles Times called “luminary” for her potent sensuality and emotional depth.

The three women explore flamenco’s inherent celebration of feminine power in “Noches de Verano.” Guitarist Anthony Hauser, guitarists Pedro Cortès, Jr and Jason McGuire provide live flamenco music, along with singer Oscar Valero.

8 p.m. Thursday-Saturday, 7 p.m Sunday. Ritz Theater, Minneapolis. Tickets $28. 612-436-1129.
