Bedlam Theatre plans weekend of final bashes

Time may be running out for the Bedlam Theatre at its current West Bank location, but that doesn’t mean it’s not going out with one big huge party for its final weekend.

The PBR/Bedlam Blowout promises to feature “pick slides, mash ups, fire, goats and more” this Friday, starting at 7:30 p.m. A $5 to $10 donation is suggested. The money raised will benefit the theater as it tries to find a new home.

Entertainment includes music by G-Biz, Phantom Tails, Pink Mink, Rifflord, the Brass Messengers and others. In the parking lot, the Infiammati Fire Circus will perform, while the fireplace room will have an art instillation by CO Exhibitions.

That will be followed on Saturday with a final-night party featuring the music of Savage Aural Hotbed. Other performers include Four Humors, Soozin Hirschmugl, The Unruly Julies, Karen Haselmann¹s Jet Pack Shadow show, Americo, Sharyn and Maryn and the Cumquat Teen Staff, a Trevor Adams film with live score by Bloodwall, and more. Tickets for this event range from $5 to $25 and it starts at 8 p.m.
