Shakespeare, Upton Sinclair among offerings in U of M theater/dance season

A collection of new interpretations of classic works will be featured in the 2010-2011 subscriber series from The University of Minnesota Department of Theater Arts and Dance. The plays will be presented on the Rarig Center’s Stoll Thrust Theatre.

“Undiscovered Country,” by Arthur Schnitzler, adapted by Tom Stoppard and directed by John Miller-Stephany. Oct. 22-30.

 “Continuously Rich,” part of the Dance Revolutions Series. Choreographed by Nora Chipaumire, Cynthia Oliver, and Jawole Willa Jo Zollar. Dec. 4-12

 “The Winter’s Tale,” by William Shakespeare and directed and adapted by Lisa Channer. Feb. 11-March 19, 2011.

“Oil & The Jungle,” based on the Upton Sinclair novels. Created by Kym Longhi. Directed by Kym Longhi/Karla Grotting. April 8-16, 2011.
