If you are looking for a bit more context with your touring theatrical shows, you may want to check out the new “Broadway Confidential” series of talks hosted by the Hennepin Theatre Trust. Each program will include contributions from area experts who will explore the issues and context of the touring shows playing at the Orpheum Theatre in downtown Minneapolis.

The series starts Oct. 18 at the Hard Rock Café for “Rock of Ages.” The program, hosted by Scott Nelson, a professor of entertainment business at the Institute of Production and Recording, will explore the “ ’80s Music Legacy.”
