Just in time for Halloween, the Music Box Theatre in Minneapolis presents a hybrid horror show called “Haunted Theater.”

They say it’s half haunted house and half theater, as the audience moves through the old Loring Theater, built in 1920, meeting actors along the way and experiencing the chills of the spooky space that began life as a silent movie theater and Vaudeville house.

There’s a vintage-looking video trailer for the show on YouTube that will prepare you for the experience.

Haunted Theater. Each “show” takes 30 minutes and runs daily, today through Oct. 31, at half-hour intervals from 5 p.m. to 10:30 p.m.; cost is $14 at the door or $12 in advance. Online tickets are available. The theater is at 1407 Nicollet Av. S., Minneapolis.
