‘Michele! The Musical Bachumanntary’ at Theater Garage

Looking for some politics with your musical theater? “Michele! The Musical Bachumanntary” takes the audience into the life and times of Minnesota’s polarizing political figure in the weeks leading up to the election.

The show is set backstage at a fictional musical, “Michele!” set to premiere on Nov. 7, 2006, the night Bachmann was first elected to the U.S. House. The show was created by James Detmar, Shanan Custer, Mark Bergren and Michael Paul Levin. The cast includes Detmar, Levin, Janet Paone, Ahna Brandvick and Laura Adams in the title role.

“Michele! The Muscial Bachumanntary” runs Thursdays-Saturdays through Oct. 30 at the Minneapolis Theater Garage. There will also be a show Monday evening, Oct. 18. Tickets are $28 and $30. To purchase, call 1-800-838-3006 or visit online.
