W Design Conversations, an informal lecture series featuring internationally recognized design experts, continues this evening with James Victore, the award-winning graphic designer whose clients include Moët & Chandon, Target, The New York Times and MTV. Joining him will be Debbie Millman, who writes eloquently about design and everyday life. She’s the current president of American Institute of Graphic Designers, and president of design division at Sterling Brands in New York.
This high-powered duo intends to super-charge participants with tough talk and creative insights into the businesses of brand identity and design. Well-known and well-respected thought leaders in their fields, they’re also professors to practice what they teach.
The proceeds from this event benefit the Twin Cities-based The Brand Lab, a nonprofit established to create opportunities in the marketing industry for students with diverse cultural and socioeconomic backgrounds.
