The first returns are rolling in, but IP Gov. candidate Tom Horner contends he’s not tracking the numbers. He’s just “enjoying the party.”
“I have people for that,” Horner says. “I’m trying to enjoy myself.”
As a first-time candidate, Horner said he’s proud of “the substantive debate we initiated.”
“We avoided the negatives and produced more policy papers than the other campaigns. We also proved there’s room in the middle in Minnesota.” Horner also told me his family is excited and ready for whatever’s next. When pressed about the night’s timeline, he simply shrugged. “We’ll know when we know.”
