The short, grand life of St. Paul’s Grand Opera House
Built as a replacement for the original St. Paul Opera House, the Grand Opera House included new interior design features, electric lighting, and safety enhancements.

During the late nineteenth century, amateur brass bands were very popular in America.
The orchestra’s first concert was held on November 5, 1903, at the Exposition Building in Minneapolis.
