Is your book club like church?

Sallie Neall, BCC’s blogger on book-clubs-in-the-news, just sent along a link to Top 10 Reasons Book Club is like Church — published yesterday on the blog of Inkwell Bookstore in Falmouth, Mass.

It’s a dreary day. You need a laugh. Check it out.

P.S. Sallie says there’s no snoring at her book club.

Last year I spoke at a book club that dressed up as characters from my novel STALKING SUSAN. Tonight I’m paying a return visit and they’re dressing like my characters from MISSING MARK.

I give the 10 reasons book club is like church a few points, I chuckled.
But the New Yorker’s discussion points were laugh out loud good! Thank you Phil for directing us to that post. I will be sharing this!

Julie Kramer if my book club likes to dress up, even when Halloween isn’t the next day, would you consider a visit to our group? We would read your book(s).
    😉
    thanks, Louise
