Cast your Readers’ Choice Award vote before April 1

Join in the fifth annual Readers’ Choice Event on March 16 and vote for your favorite Minnesota Book Award finalist.

Fifth Annual Readers’ Choice Event

Now that this year’s Minnesota Book Awards finalists have been chosen, it’s time for readers to have their say.

All Minnesotans are invited to take part in the Readers’ Choice Award by voting for one Minnesota Book Award finalist before Sunday, Apr. 1.

To cast your vote, click the “vote” tab on the left-hand margin of the Minnesota Book Awards Facebook page.

The title with the most popular votes will be awarded the Readers’ Choice Award at the April 14 Gala.

If you’d like to meet the finalists and learn more about their books before casting your vote, join the Friends of the Saint Paul Public Library for the Readers’ Choice Event at The Loft Literary Center on Friday, Mar. 16.

Finalists will  give short presentations about their books, followed by a reception with complimentary wine and refreshments, giving readers an opportunity to meet and chat with the authors.

Participating authors include Brian Farrey, Kevin Fenton, Catherine Friend, Kim Heikkila, Ed Bok Lee, Bronson Lerner, Nancy Loewen, Darby Nelson, Jim Northrup, Shawn Lawrence Otto, Su Smallen, Danielle Sosin and Lori Sturdevant.

Finalist books will be available for purchase and autographing.
