How not to apologize: advice for Bachmann

According to The Politico, Minnesota’s Michele Bachmann (R-America) is working on an apology ad for sliming Barack Obama and an impossible-to-determine number of colleagues.

The D.C. website also just published its “10 Worst Ads of the Season” — and Number 6 is an cautionary example for Bachmann.

It’s Florida GOP Rep. Tom Feeney apologizing for flying around on corrupt lobbyist Jack Abramoff’s dime. Politico writers Ryan Grim and Glenn Thush ask, “Is he sorry — or sorry he got busted?”

Bachmann’s offense is less serious, but constituents and the rest of us in the peanut gallery will be asking themselves the same question imminently.
