A tale of two late-campaign events: Is Norm nuts?

Is it really savvy for Coleman and Bachmann to share the same bill?

I know a three-way Senate race can turn it into a “base” election for the DFL and Republican candidates, but consider two rallies’ bedfellows.

Tuesday night: Norm Coleman and Michele Bachmann at Orchestra Hall.

Thursday night: Al Franken and Bill Clinton at the Minneapolis Convention Center.

If each event’s participants stand together, I know which campaign will profit from the visuals.
