As of this writing, Minnesota’s polls don’t close for another 75 minutes, but CNN is dribbling out some state-by-state exit poll results.
According to the network, white evangelicals in all 50 states went for McCain. But the Arizona senator’s margin among this group was smallest in Minnesota.
Couldn’t see the exact percentage — CNN’s graphic didn’t allow for precise detail — but it looked like a near-even split.
With all the warnings about exit-poll imprecision in force, this is a bad portent for local McCainiacs … but will it have any downballot effects?
