Councilmember’s wife’s Obamotion makes CBS for third time

Sondra Hollinger Samuels, wife of Minneapolis Councilmember Don Samuels, got her third shot of CBS face time Thursday during Katie Couric’s newscast.

Why? Few people get as emotional about Barack Obama.

CBS cameras first discovered Sondra Samuels at the Democratic National Convention, and her reaction was so unabashed that she interviewed the next day on the network’s Early Show. (Warning: ads first):

Therefore, it only made sense that Couric’s crew would seek out the Samuels family on Election Night.

Her appearance comes at about the 2:45 mark:

By the way, the PiPress’ Ben Garvin offers a very nice video with a 71-year-old Minneapolitan who reflects on Tuesday’s vote compared to his forced-balloting experiences in Mississippi decades ago.
